Hi Guys,
time is not only flying…it must be taking a jet…
can you believe it??? Holiday season already…
we have our 2nd Group Thanksgiving Dinner next week..
I’m glad ..it looks like we’ll have a good turn out again..
last year was a blast…we all not only get together..share a Holiday meal..but
we all look forward to laughing..talking and sharing a Holiday with "friends"!!!!
Another wonderful Holiday event we held last year..is almost upon us…
bowling for Toys 4 Tots….
last year this was a wonderful..fun..and very successful event..
we raised over $200.00 and several toys for the kids…
HOW this works-
we ALL get together..bowl (at a discount)…and then..
make a donation…(what ever your comfortable with)..or
you can bring an unwrapped toy of your choosing…
I know everyone is on a budget..with not alot to spare…but
we have many many generous members..that always open their hearts to a needy child..
especially this time of years…
Jim and I started this charity event last year..we thought it would be a wonderful
way of helping out needy kids..while having a fun time bowling with friends..
I will talk to the manager..Lynnhaven Lanes..(across from mall..Chucky Cheese on corner)
last year we got a special game rate..and shoes..
I hope everyone decides to come out to this 2nd annual Charity event..
