LAST MINUTE EVENT…..Open Mic Night Comedy @ Snappers Grill & Comedy Club in Palm Harbor!
OK, so I haven’t had a chance to check this out firsthand so this is an experiment. If you live close and are adventurous come scout this out with us. If not, we may do it again if it’s worth it. I’m trying to find more inexpensive events and also some weeknight events…..
so here goes…….
Join us as we explore up and coming amateur comedians in Tampa Bay @ Snappers Thursday night for Amateur Night!
Laugh with us as we explore local comedy in the area’s newest smokefree comedy venue, the recently remodeled Snappers Showroom. Snappers has recently revamped their comedy showroom for a more comfy comedy club feel.
We’ll arrive at 7:45 and the show starts at 8 PM. I’m told the show lasts about an hour to 90 minutes with each comedian doing about 5 minutes with an MC in between. If you can arrive earlier and grab a table for us please do so but please note in your COMMENTS on your RSVP if you are coming earlier so people can look for you. You don’t have to wait until the start time since some of us can’t make it earlier. If you have to come later than 8 just please note in you COMMENTS so we know to look for you. Maybe is definitely an RSVP option for this event. We expect the show to be over by 9:30 so you won’t be out late unless you want to hang out and socialize after the show.
ADMISSION IS FREE but there may be a 2 item minimum imposed. There is no mention of it on their website but it would seem likely since they are not charging admission.
IF there is a 2 "drink" minimum which can be satisfied with 2 "items" from the menu including food, soft drinks, bottled water, beer, wine or liquor. Each counts as one item as long as it is purchased from our waitperson after we are seated in the showroom.
Drinks purchased in the outside bar don’t count towards your 2 item minimum.
DIRECTIONS
Snappers is easy to find. Going north on US 19 north of Alderman Road it will be on your right. Going south on US 19 Snappers is on your left.
For directions to any meetup don’t forget you can click on the location in blue under the WHERE at the top of any meetup event and get directions easily.
