Hike the hills and count the colorful holiday stars…

Every December, the families of this small charming town of 4,000, decorate their homes with six to 10 feet hight stars that illuminate the night. There are new ones added every year. I stopped counting at 200! Click on the photo above to enlarge.
This 2 mile hike will take you up the residential streets to the top of the mountain. You will burn calories! Dress warm, wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle and camera.
5:00 pm Meet in front of the Mangiare Restaurant at the entrance of town. There’s a big parking lot.
7:00 pm We’ll eat at one of the Asian restaurants in town, either Chinese, Vietnamese or Thai (group vote). Sorry, but dinner is only open to those on our hike.
Getting there…
Brisbane is just south of San Francisco, off of HWY 101. When you enter town, to your right, there is a small group of restaurants and a Bank of America. Park there. Public transportation is very difficult so please car pool. For a map, click on the restaurant above. You can zoom in and out of the map and also get driving directions. Sharon will post her cell phone before the event.
