Join us at Cobb’s to celebrate the last week of 2008 with
Patton Oswalt and special guest Dana Gould!
A co-star of the hit sitcom “King of Queens” and star of the
recent film “Ratatouille,” Patton also had his own half hour
special on HBO as well as his own “Comedy Central Presents …”
He has appeared in numerous films like “Blade: Trinity,” “
Starsky & Hutch,” “Man On The Moon” and “Balls of Fury.” He
also lent his voice to Comedy Central’s “Crank Yankers” and
Cartoon Network’s “Aqua Teen Hunger Force,” and has made
appearances on “Reno 911,” “Seinfeld” and “Mr. Show.” He also
wrote, produced and starred in the hit show “The Comedians of
Comedy” on Comedy Central, and the subsequent documentary.
Also appearing is special guest Dana Gould, a legendary
comedian considered to be one of the absolute best among his
peers. Currently a writer and producer on the longest running
animated show on TV, “The Simpsons,” Dana was also featured in
the hit documentary “The Aristocrats.” His numerous other TV
and film credits include “Late Night with David Letterman,” “
Seinfeld,” “The Ben Stiller Show,” “Roseanne,” “Clerks,” “Dumb
& Dumber” and his own HBO special. Hosted by Kris Tinkle.
The New Year’s Eve show will also feature very special guest
Hal Sparks, former host of E!’s “Talk Soup” and one of the
stars of the popular Showtime drama "Queer as Folk."
Transportation and Parking:
Cobb’s provides reduced validated parking at the Anchorage
Garage located at 500 Beach Street at Jones. $10.00 for the
first 3 hours, regular prices apply after that. Guests will
want to make note that from the Anchorage to Cobb’s is about a
10 minute walk. (no hills) Upon exiting the Anchorage Garage by
foot, turn left and go to Jones Street. Turn right on Jones and
proceed to Columbus Ave. Turn Left on Columbus Ave, Cobb’s is
about 2 & 1/2 blocks up on right hand side of street. Guests
may want to drop off their group at the front door of Cobb’s
and let 1 person go park.
If you are taking BART, the best route is to exit at the
Montgomery Station in San Francisco and connect at street level
to the 30 Stockton outbound bus, which goes directly to the
club on Columbus Avenue.
