Everyone I bring to this venue tells me how much they enjoy the food and the grilling.
Menu prices are reasonable … here’s a link to check it out http://www.tsuruhashi… My tab with one other person came to about $ 35 with three dishes ordered.
This is indeed like downtown’s Strip Club where you grill your own steaks, seafood, etc.
The major difference is each table is equipped with a grill and an overhead vent!

And, of course, another difference is the exotic flavors of the marinated fresh cuts of meats (Kobe Beef), seafood and veggies brought to your table. A popular dish of theirs is a rice dish with all sorts of ingredients … like fried rice only cooked in a clay pot.
This place is quite unique. I have yet to discover another Japanese restaurant like this in all of San Diego (or perhaps all of California).
On weekends the restaurant is super busy so I’ll need to make reservations the moment they open this Saturday at 4 p.m. Therefore, that’s the deadline to RSVP.
