A few of us who are planning to hike King’s Peak in a few weeks are getting together for a training hike. Its early in the morning but A) we want to beat the sun and hot weather B) we all h ave stuff going on in the afternoon.
If you’d like to join us meet us at the Mill B. South Trailhead parking area.
Its a difficult hike, almost 10 miles. It is shaded until 8,200 feet but then is exposed to the sun until the summit at 11,330 feet.
