Tonight we are celebrating September and October birthdays!!! If you have a birthday during either month PLEASE come out and celebrate!! We already have a couple folks who are going to wine thru their birthday!!! As always, Didier will have several wines for us to taste!! Your $10 fee includes a glass of wine plus tasting!!! *** There will be BIRTHDAY CAKE*****
The musicians tonight are Mercedes and David whose greatest desire is to share their gift with us. Mercedes has family from Jaen, Andalucia where flamenco music originated which inspired her to sing every since she was a child. Her joyful spirit and passion fill her voice with an enchanting unique splendor. David is a Portland native who has always been passionate about latin music. Upon moving to Sevilla, Spain in 2003 , David became enamored by flamenco music with its rich gypsy and arabic roots. David spent four years in Sevilla studying flamenco with guitar instructor Emilio Guerrero.
***Please bring a dish. This is a pot luck type of mixer. Please bring a dish which feeds about 3 folks. A good place to stop and pick up something is right around the corner at New Seasons. I will provide plates, plasticware, and napkins. ****
We are using this time as a Member’s mixer, for everyone to get acquainted!!!
