NIGHT OUT! … Irish Pub crawl just in time for St Pattys Day

It’s another night out in our NIGHT OUT bar tour series!
Every month we try to show you a different area of the city for those that are looking for new places to experience or just looking to experience Philadelphia for the first time.
This time we are tying it in with St Patrick’s day so instead of going out in an ‘area’ as usual, we are going to hit 5 Irish bars. That’s right…Jameson, Tullamore Dew, Guinness, Car bombs (don’t get offended if you’re Irish, I know they’re more American then Irish, but hey…it’s what we do here in the US), bangers & Mash, Bailey’s, and all the rest.
You don’t have to be Irish to join us…I’m not but I will pretend for a day!
So break out your green hats, shirts, pants, glasses, beads, face paints, or whatever will make you drink green beer and come on out!
The Erin Express is on the Saturday before our bar tour so I’m hoping they won’t be quite as packed as they are on that night. But even still, I’m going to limit this to the first 25 from each group (again, we’re partnering with the New in Town group) to RSVP YES.
The Plan:
We will meet at Fergies Pub at 7:30pm and gather our green troops.
About 8:30 we’ll head over to McGillians Pub
Around 9:30 we’ll venture to Fado
about 10:30 we’ll walk up to Black Sheep
around 11:30 we’ll venture to The Bards
Generally around this time of the night the group seems to usually break up into the people that go home early, the people that want to see 1 more bar, and the people that party until 3am (that would be Gary’s group).
So plan to get home or to your car from 20th and Walnut area.
For those that want 1 more bar, the IRISH PUB is right next door.
For those staying out until 3….see Gary…
Due to the smaller size of the bars, we are limiting this to 25 members, which means if you RSVP YES and do not show up, you take the spot of someone else that could have come with us. If you don’t show up, you’ll feel Franco’s wrath. Believe me, he is not kind.
