NEW START TIME: Given all the media attention (which, honestly, even I wasn’t expecting to this degree–but then again, it *is* Julia Roberts) I’ve seen since the film opened and comments some members have made here, I think it would be a good idea to meet a little earlier for those who want to be sure to get tickets. I really don’t expect it will sell out (it’s not Avatar, after all!) so as long as you are there by 12:45 OR don’t mind slipping in the theater and meeting up with us afterwards, that’s fine with me too.
The first Saturday showing is 12:50. I’ll stay in the middle of the lobby just beyond the ticket counters.
Don’t forget your dream cast list and any other questions you want to discuss afterward!
Afterward we’ll meet for late lunch/discussion. That shopping center has really emptied out, so my choice (for thematic tie-in) is Tommy’s Original Pizzeria (you know, start with Italy! If we want to continue the metaphor we can have dinner a few doors down at Spice Restaurant – LOL). I met with the manager of Tommy’s this morning and he assured me it will be fine for conversation as they are mostly a take-out business, and he showed me a set of corner booths he’ll reserve for us. He seemed very pleased to accommodate us.
