It’s a casual hike with moderate pace and good conversation. Wunderlich is one of my all time favorite places to hike.
This is a parent only event.
This time we start in the afternoon at 1:00 PM with an introduction of hikers. I like to have fun with this, so I’ll have my traditional question for each person.
The plan is to start up the Alambique Trail and hike about three hours then back to the parking lot. There is no trail agenda, we will hike and turn around at some point so folks will be home in the early evening. A hike in this park is a decent workout because the start is uphill. Although mellow, it’s enough to get the blood pumping in your heart.
It is recommended that you bring water to drink and wear clothes to hike in. I cater to those who are prompt, so we leave after those questions I mentioned.
Rain, tornado, hurricane, tidal wave and lightening cancel the event, but all other weather is welcome. Dress in layers.
A note:
The park is in Woodside, but for some reason the map entry is for Redwood City.
So come on out to my favorite bunch of trees in Woodside and hike a bit with us!
