It’s almost the Holiday Season! WOW! Where did this year go?
Teri Thomas has been gracious enough to host a Christmas Party at her house on December 13, 2008 at 6:00 p.m.
It will be a lovely evening with food, good conversation and a gift exchange.
1.Please plan on bringing a “finger” food, i.e. pigs in blankets, meatballs, deviled eggs, petite sandwiches, chips & dip, etc. You get the idea. Please plan on bringing your own drink if you choose to do so. Sodas will be provided, but anything else you might like, please bring with you. When you RSVP yes, please put down the food item you plan on bringing so we do not have triples of meatballs, etc.
2.Here are 2 choices for a gift exchange:
We will have a “gag” gift exchange. If you do not want to participate in the exchange, please do not feel pressured to do so, you can just not put your name in the hat. Please do not spend more than $5 on the gift. It could be a weird keychain, whatever. You can find these types of gifts at Spencer’s in the Mall, Wal-Mart, etc. Use your imagination and have fun with it.
and/or
We will have a “re-gift” exchange where you bring a gift you previously got but did not like or had no use for, and “re-gift” it and exchange it at our Holiday Party.
We can combine the both and have fun exchanging either. Do not bring 2 gifts, just either a “gag gift” or a “re-gift”.
3.The hostess has cats so if you are allergic to cats, please take your Allegra, or allergy medicine so you can fully enjoy the event without waking up the next day with your nose running or eyes red as heck.
4.If we all get in the right mood, we could even sing carols!! Yea!!!!
5.Teri lies in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake, near Oscar Smith. Her exact address will be given out when you RSVP yes.
