Update changes to date. Thanks Kim to correcting the date!!!!!! We are moving this to August 9 It will be a day event. It has been a little difficult to find a place to stay over and I hear its only about an hour away.
We will meet by 9:15 at St Andrews Picnic area. It is located on the south end of the Island. It is #10 on this Map.
I was told it is very close to everything.
Summer waves open at 10:00 am so we can leave the picnic area at 9:45 am to go to Summer waves.

For those that don’t want to go to the summer waves park,
1. Of course there is swimming at the beach.
2. there is a place down the road on the map is Tidelands Nature Center it has Kayak tours or you can rent a canoe or paddle boat.
3. Bike riding rental all day for $10.25
4. just walk the beach enjoy the nature trails.
Then I thought we can meet back around 1:30 at the picnic grounds for a lunch together to finish off our day. Summer Waves will hand stamp you so you can come and go. They are opened until 8 PM.
Everyone could pack a picnic lunch or sub. Unless someone wanted to do grilling but I prefer not to. I could bring a cooler with Ice and some bottles of Soda and chips.
