Wine 101 – Tasting & Enjoying Wine

This is a class that I volunteer for through Spec’s. Below are the details. If you would like to go, contact them directly to sign up. Please RSVP on here as well so I can group us together at a table.
At 7:00pm on Monday June 30, 2008, please join Spec’s fine wine buyer Bear Dalton and the Wine School at l’Alliance Francaise for our most popular class – TASTING AND ENJOYING WINE. This class will focus on wine tasting and wine basics while looking at topics including the grape varieties used to make the wines and some of the reasons why they taste like they do, proper serving temperature, some general hints on how to get the most from any wine, as well as how these wines (and wine in general) match-up with food. If you are newly interested in wine, this class is a great place to start. Twelve wines representing a range of styles from all over the world will be tasted.
