Riesling Revival

Wine Meetups > Single Wine-O’s
This is a class that I volunteer for through Spec’s. Below are the details. If you would like to go, contact them directly to sign up. Please RSVP on here as well so I can group us together at a table.
At 7:00pm on Monday, June 16, 2008, please join Spec’s fine wine buyer Bear Dalton and the Wine School at l’Alliance Francaise for Riesling Revival, in which we’ll look at the state of non-dessert-style Riesling today. We?ll talk about Riesling producing areas, vintages, and producers as well as about why Riesling is newly popular and how Riesling pairs with food (which it does very well). We?ll taste a total of twelve Rieslings from Germany, Alsace, the US, Australia, and New Zealand. Bear will be back from a trip to all the major Riesling producing areas in Germany just two weeks before this class. RIESLING REVIVAL will cost $60.00 "cash" per person ($63.15 regular). For directions, reservations, or more information on this class, please call SPEC’s at 832-660-0250.
NOTE – WINE SCHOOL CANCELLATION POLICY
